Google (LG) Nexus 4

Android 4.3 setup

  1. On the device, tap the Menu icon.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Wireless & networks.
  4. Make sure Wi-Fi is Off (you can change this later) and Mobile network is On (or checked).
  5. Tap on Mobile network.
  6. Tap on Access Point Names.
  7. Delete any existing APN’s that may be on the phone (Including any T-Mobile APN’s)
  8. Select the Plus Sign with a Circle around it. 
  9. Select Name, enter solavei and tap OK.
  10. Select APN, enter solavei (all lower case) and tap OK.
  11. Select MMSC: http://solavei.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
  12. Select APN Type: default,mms   (no spaces, all lower case)
  13. Select MVNO Type: IMSI
  14. Select MVNO Value: 310260x (This should be the default that comes up after selecting IMSI)
  15. APN enable/disable: APN enabled.
  16. Press the Menu key and select Save
  17. Press the radio button next to Solavei to set the profile as default.
  18. At this time, turn the phone Off and then back On again.
  19. Test the settings by sending a picture message to yourself.
  20. Tap the Menu icon.
  21. Tap Browser.
  22. Enter a non-Google web site to test.

Android 4.0+

  1. On the device, tap the Menu icon.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Wireless & networks.
  4. Make sure Wi-Fi is Off (you can change this later) and Mobile network is On (or checked).
  5. Tap on Mobile network.
  6. Tap on Access Point Names.
  7. Press the Menu key and tap Reset to Default
  8. Press the Menu key and tap New APN
  9. Select Name, enter solavei and tap OK.
  10. Select APN, enter solavei and tap OK.
  11. Enter the user name and password listed below. If no value is listed, leave the field blank.
    • User name: <leave blank>
    • Password: <leave blank>
  12. Select MMSC, enter: http://solavei.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc and tap OK.
  13. Select MMS proxy: <leave blank>
  14. Select MMS port: <leave blank>
  15. Select MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
  16. MCC: 310
  17. MNC: 260
  18. Select Authentication type: Not set
  19. Select APN type: default,mms,hipri,supl,admin,mobile
  20. APN enable/disable: APN enabled.
  21. Press the Menu key and select Save
  22. Press the radio button next to Solavei to set the profile as default.
  23. Delete all non-Solavei APN's after saving the Solavei APN.
  24. At this time, turn the phone Off and then back On again.
  25. Test the settings by sending a picture message to yourself.
  26. Tap the Menu icon.
  27. Tap Browser.
  28. Enter a non-Google web site to test.
